## About

Full-stack engineer with 19 years of experience, working through Toptal since 2019 and Upwork (Top-Rated, 100% job success) since 2014. Core stack: Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, MongoDB/MySQL, AWS — with a cross-platform mobile specialty in Ionic and Capacitor.

Since 2019 I have been the sole mobile developer for a US workforce-management SaaS: an iOS/Android app with 100K+ installs that I own end to end — architecture, offline mode, GPS and geofencing, push notifications, security features, native integrations and store releases. In parallel I have delivered full-stack products for real-estate, education and healthcare clients: APIs, billing, email infrastructure, video conferencing, admin portals.

Master’s degree in Computer Science. Based in Greece, working with US clients in EST overlap.

- **100K+** installs on Google Play
- **4.9** App Store rating, from 733 ratings

## What clients said

> Andrii is one of the easiest people I’ve worked with. He is reliable, communicates clearly, and raises problems early instead of letting them surprise you later. When something is unclear, his question comes with a proposed answer, which makes every decision faster. I never have to chase him for status or wonder where things stand.
>
> He has been a main contributor to our mobile app at Buddy Punch, covering new features, hotfixes and releases, and he takes care with all of it. I’d recommend Andrii to any team looking for a strong mobile developer who is genuinely good to work with.

## Experience

### Senior Mobile Developer · [Buddy Punch](https://buddypunch.com/)

2019 — Present. Owned the iOS and Android app end to end as its sole developer for seven years: architecture, features, native integrations and every store release. Built Offline Mode, the product’s most requested feature of 2025, and the GPS layer the product sells on, and carried the app from Cordova to Angular 21, Ionic 8 and Capacitor 8. Replaced Ionic Appflow with fastlane on GitHub Actions, cutting QA builds from 12 minutes to 6, and set up the release flow around it, so the stores ship exactly the build QA verified.

[App Store · 4.9 ★](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/buddy-punch/id1100685927) · [Google Play · 100,000+ installs](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BuddyPunch.Mobile)

Stack: Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, TypeScript, Swift, Java, fastlane, GitHub Actions.

### Full-stack Developer · [Brokerloop](https://www.brokerloop.com/)

2020 — 2026. Six years and 1,800+ commits on the Node.js API behind every listing, contact and campaign, over three engagements. Built the platform’s video conferencing product, its Stripe subscriptions and its own email infrastructure, then documented the API as an OpenAPI spec and built an MCP server so assistants like Claude can run the product through it.

Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, AngularJS, React, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, Stripe, MCP.

### MEAN Full-stack Developer · [RentWise](https://www.rentwise.org/)

2022 — 2025. Built the learning engine of a renter-education platform: course authoring, quizzes, certificates and pacing rules. Turned it into a paid product with PayPal checkout, moved its video library to in-house HLS streaming, and ran the security audit and fixed what it found, over three engagements.

Stack: Angular, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, PayPal, HLS, ArcGIS, AWS.

### Senior Cross-Platform Developer · [USC Institute for Creative Technologies](https://ict.usc.edu/)

2019 — 2020. Took a desktop-only mental-health support app to the phone as part of the team: responsive layouts, phone-sized forms, quizzes and assessments. Packaged it with Ionic and Capacitor for the App Store and Google Play.

Stack: Angular, NgRx, Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova, TypeScript.

### Earlier experience

#### Senior Full-stack Developer · Freelance clients

2014 — 2019. Built a blockchain-based content-licensing marketplace, a social-media marketing platform for franchise organizations, and the web and mobile apps of Sellr, a retail platform. Also built a cloud task tracker for Inovo Studios and OnCue Technology to coordinate projects and plan sprints, which the client called one of the year’s highlights. Top-rated, with a 100% job-success score.

Stack: Node.js, AngularJS, Ionic, AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis.

#### Lead .NET Software Engineer · [EPAM Systems](https://www.epam.com/)

2011 — 2014. Led a team of six to ten as Scrum master. Built the financial portlets traders watch the markets through on the Thomson Reuters platform, on an MVVM-C JavaScript framework I designed, and shipped WPF apps to the Bloomberg App Portal. Interviewed senior candidates, spoke at public IT conferences, and was promoted twice in three years.

Stack: C#, .NET, JavaScript, WPF, SQL Server, Scrum.

#### .NET Software Engineer · [GlobalLogic](https://www.globallogic.com/)

2007 — 2011. Worked on CustomCD, Digital River’s burn-on-demand e-commerce service: the admin and partner-support web apps, the packaging, shipment and reporting services, and the notifications behind orders fulfilled across the US and Germany.

Stack: C#, ASP.NET, WCF, SQL Server, JavaScript.

## Projects

A system I built for client work, a code-audit workbench of mine, and two open-source tools for Claude Code, MIT-licensed.

### AI-native engineering system

Client work · private code.

Lets AI coding agents carry a production mobile product safely, rather than just autocompleting code: planning, an independent plan review, implementation in isolated Git worktrees, code review, verification and release. The guardrails are deterministic, not advisory: hooks enforce what documentation alone cannot, each added after a specific failure happened once. Agents check the app on iOS and Android instead of trusting a green build.

Stack: Claude Code, AI agents, MCP, Playwright, Node.js, Bash.

### [Auditdesk](https://naidenko.dev/audit)

Code audit · sample report.

A local workbench for auditing a client's codebase: scanners first, then a Claude agent per aspect with read-only tools and a checklist, and my review of every finding before a client-ready HTML and PDF report. Every secret gitleaks finds is masked before the model sees it, and the client's code is never run. An eval on OWASP Juice Shop and a fixture with planted defects scores recall and cost by model and effort.

Stack: Claude Agent SDK, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Semgrep, Playwright.

### [claude-video-digest](https://github.com/anaidenko/claude-video-digest)

Turns any video into a readable digest: a timestamped contact sheet, individual frames, and a transcript grouped under the frame each line was spoken over. Claude can’t play video; this gives it something it can actually read. ffmpeg and local Whisper, no cloud, no API keys.

Stack: Claude Code, ffmpeg, Whisper, Shell.

### [claude-notify-resume](https://github.com/anaidenko/claude-notify-resume)

Desktop notifications for Claude Code that tell you which conversation replied, or is waiting on you, and take you back into it. macOS and Linux.

Stack: Claude Code, Shell, macOS, Linux.

Install both from my plugin marketplace, [claude-plugins](https://github.com/anaidenko/claude-plugins):

```sh
claude plugin marketplace add anaidenko/claude-plugins
claude plugin install claude-video-digest@anaidenko
claude plugin install claude-notify-resume@anaidenko
```

## Services

### [Code audits](https://naidenko.dev/audit)

An independent audit of your codebase before a launch, a fundraise or a handover: scanners first, then an AI agent per aspect, and my own review of every finding, in a report your founders and engineers can act on.

Proof: Auditdesk and its sample report.

### Mobile apps with Ionic and Capacitor

iOS and Android from one TypeScript codebase: offline mode, GPS and geofencing, push notifications, native plugins in Swift and Java, and every store release, including moving Cordova apps to Capacitor and builds from Ionic Appflow to fastlane.

Proof: Buddy Punch.

### Full-stack web products

Node.js APIs with the billing, email and video features products run on, and Angular or React front ends to match.

Proof: Brokerloop, RentWise.

### Claude Code tooling and MCP servers

Plugins that fit Claude Code into your team’s workflow, and MCP servers that let AI assistants work with your product through its own API.

Proof: the open-source plugins, Brokerloop.
